Last updated: July 2026 · Draft — subject to final approval.

1. About us

Teddies House Play Centre & Café ("we", "us") operates from 49 Bolton Road, Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 7JN. You can contact us on 01204 792242 or at managers@teddieshouse.co.uk.

2. Play session bookings

  • Sessions must be booked in advance through our online booking system, by phone, or in person, subject to availability.
  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the session start time receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session start time are non-refundable.
  • Session start and finish times are strict. Late arrival does not extend your session, and no refund is given for time missed.

3. Private hire bookings

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure any private hire booking. The remaining balance is due before the hire date.
  • Cancellations or requests to rearrange must be made at least 4 weeks before the booking date. No refund is given for cancellations or changes requested within 4 weeks of the booking.
  • Private hire is limited to a maximum of 42 children.

4. Supervision and safety

  • Children must be accompanied and actively supervised by a responsible adult (18+) at all times. We do not provide childcare during play sessions or private hire.
  • Play equipment is designed for children up to age 8, with a dedicated area for babies. Please keep children to the areas appropriate for their age.
  • Socks must be worn in the play areas by children and adults.
  • We reserve the right to ask anyone behaving in an unsafe or antisocial manner to leave without refund.

5. Food and drink

  • Only food and drink purchased from our café may be consumed on the premises, except baby food and formula. Please speak to us about allergies — our team will be happy to help.

6. General

  • We may update session times, prices and these terms from time to time. Bookings are always subject to the terms in place at the time of booking.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Otherwise, we are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises.
  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
